DANA UV HIGH-RESOLUTION INKJET PRINTER

The DANA UV high-resolution inkjet printer is a piezoelectric (PIJ) printer that uses specialized UV ink and lamps, working along with a plasma processor compatible with the coding material. This equipment is widely used in various factories to print production information and QR codes on packaging.

Piezoelectric inkjet (PIJ) technology is based on a piezoelectric element within the printhead's ink chamber. When voltage is applied, the piezoelectric ceramic deforms, compressing the chamber and ejecting ink.

Unlike traditional thermal inkjet (TIJ) printers, PIJ printers feature a permanent printhead that is separate from the ink cartridge. As a result, consumables are limited to ink refills and occasional cleaning fluid, leading to significantly lower overall operating costs than TIJ cartridges.

The DANA UV printer has a compact design and offers various printhead configurations to accommodate different inks, meeting diverse coding needs. For instance, the CF3 printhead is designed specifically for white ink and is paired with a heated ink tank to maintain fluidity and ensure stable operation. The entire series uses stainless steel ink tanks, which provide a strong seal that effectively preserves the ink's properties.
